Designing..

Tue Sep 29, 2009, 2:29 PM
Well, i decided to get SketchUP back after a boost on confidence. I saw around 2-4 great pieces of work done in SketchUP. First one i must say was by TheWonderfulHermit and his Samsung S380 camera model in SU. This gave me somewhat a boost, but i thought of how etchy the images / models always looked. After previous coupence with it it left crappy modelled models.

I then saw, Norke, and his Wall E model. It was then rendered in VRay. This added an incredible erge to what i thought could be achieved with SU and other rendering programs.

As i don't have a hole lot of money, infact im skint atm. I didn't have enough to afford such programs like VRAY and iRender, and those alike that cost money. So.. i decided to do a google search and found 2 free ones. They were, Kerkythea and Indigo.

I downloaded Indigo first, but seemed as if it was really hard, i then downloaded Kerkythea, but that kept messing up when it would come to the rendering, so i finally read how to actually use Indigo, instead of using the good old way of guessing. And got a small render done. It's crap and might post it up not sure though.

So, thanks to those 2 i shouted out to, and anyone else i fav'ed because of it was SKETCHUP!

It is indeed, you have to download Indigo, the program, then SKindigo which is the sketchup plugin ;)
